The family photos are of Jeanie, her husband, daughter, son in law and of course their grandson JT. The cars are now their fun things. They show these cars. The VW (her name is Bug A Boo) and the SSR are Jeanie's. The Vette is her husbands. The picture of her daughter's family is on the USS Lexington and was taken 3 weeks ago at an event sponsored by the Corpus Vette Club. They set a record for the most vettes placed on an aircraft carrier.

This is of my grandsons, Johnny and Thomas Diaconis, celebrating my 60th birthday with me this October. My daughter, Pamela, who lives in Hawaii, and my son, Nick and his wife, Nicole, who live in Boston with Johnny and Thomas, gave me a birthday party.

In addition to having a wonderful family, there are lots of good things happening in my life, for which I am very grateful: After 36 years of marriage, I'm single again and loving life, still enjoying my career as a nurse educator.
My role as Department Chair for the RNBS Program at Villa Julie College is very fulfilling. I stay busy with presentations, grants, teaching, and administrative work.

When I've had some down time, I've managed to do some traveling and visiting friends and family. My parents live outside of Tyler, and I go there every 3 months or so. With the grandsons in Boston, I'm there every 4-6 weeks. New York is only a 3 hour train ride from here, and Washington, DC is an hour's drive. The ocean is 3 hours away, and I'm in Annapolis about every two weeks. Visiting my daughter in Hawaii takes more time and planning, but it's a great get away place. I wish all my classmates and their families and friends a happy and healthy holiday season.
